Summary

Djarum Group subsidiary PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) will build a fiber optic network in the Subang Metropolitan area, West Java. This project is being worked on by TOWR subsidiary PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), collaborating with PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) subsidiary PT Surya Subang Metropolitan.

TOWR Corporate Secretary Monalisa Irawan said the project also involves PT Iforte Solusi Infotek (iForte), which provides fiber optic networks for the entire Subang Metropolitan area. Protelindo will be the tower provider. Protelindo currently has about 30,000 towers with around 55,000 tenants, while iForte provides internet services to 2,300 clients. TOWR President Director Aming Santoso hopes this project can increase the utilization of towers, fiber optics, and other assets. "We currently have many assets that allow us to expand our business," Aming said on Monday.
