Aserra-SPR Langgak Consortium Wins Auction for West Kampar Block
The Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry has appointed PT Aserra Petrolindo Gemilang-PT SPR Langgak consortium as the West Kampar Block auction winner. It is committed to providing US$32,559,982 and a signature bonus of US$250,000 for the first five years to the conventional oil and gas work area off North Sumatra and the Riau coast.
ESDM Ministry's director general of oil and gas Tutuka Ariadji hoped that the West Kampar Block could increase Indonesia's oil and gas production in the future. "The winner is expected to carry out their commitments as well possible," he said when announcing the tender winner at The 3rd International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil and Gas (IOG) in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Wednesday.
