Sirclo's Mass Layoff Alerts E-Commerce Sector

Omnichannel commerce enabler company SIRCLO Group announced the termination of employment (PHK) of 160 employees, or around eight percent of its workforce, on Nov 22, citing the need to adapt amid the current macroeconomic conditions. "As a rapidly growing technology company, SIRCLO Group strives to continue to be adaptive in making business adjustments to achieve long-term growth," SIRCLO Group founder and CEO Brian Marshal said in an official statement.
The adjustments cover all aspects of SIRCLO Group's businesses, such as developing an e-commerce enabler business that serves large-scale or enterprise clients. Several SIRCLO Group business units targeting the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) segment will focus on essential operational aspects within the group's ecosystem. This set of goals has an impact on adjusting the scale of the company's organization.
