Danny Nugroho Strengthens His Grip at Bank Capital
PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk (BACA) plans to increase capital without pre-emptive rights (PMTHMETD), known as a private placement, by issuing a maximum of 19.94 billion new shares at Rp 100 per share or about 72.14 percent of the company's total issued and paid-in capital after the private placement. However, the private placement will dilute the ownership percentage of current shareholders. "The plan is to use the proceeds from the additional capital without pre-emptive rights to strengthen the capital structure," BACA president director Wahyu Dwi Aji revealed in a written statement on Tuesday.
Based on a statement dated Nov 11, PT Capital Global Investama (CG Investama), as a shareholder of Bank Capital, is ready to absorb the new shares. The company will spend around Rp 300 billion to do so.
