Airbus Secures Indonesia Deal for A400M

Indonesia will soon realize the plan to purchase the military transport aircraft Airbus A400M. Airbus chief representative in Indonesia Dani Adriananta said that the contract for purchasing two Airbus A400M aircraft would be in effect in Nov 2022. "We believe this contract can be in effect immediately," Dani said on Tuesday. For the record, Indonesia ordered them back in 2021 during the Dubai Airshow.
Airbus Defense and Space head of Asia Pacific Johan Pelissier revealed that the Airbus factory had secured the A400M production line for Indonesia's order. The Indonesian Government went for Airbus A400M due to its versatility. However, Airbus typically takes 3-5 years to finish the order once the agreed contract is in effect. Pelissier claimed the aircraft would be better than any of Indonesia's Air Force transport aircraft. It can fly longer, is faster, and has a larger load capacity.
