Indian Conglomerate Wipro Invests in Indonesian Startup Youvit

Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting investment company announced an investment in Youvit, an Indonesian startup that sells gummy multivitamin products. Youvit also sells various other health products for children and adults. Citing Livemint.com on Thursday, Wipro Consumer Care Ventures invested in Youvit's US$6 million Series B funding round.

Youvit will use the fresh funds to expand product offerings and launch products in new formats, as well as to invest in the brand and expand the team. "We are aiming to double our omnichannel business model, particularly on online and direct-to-consumer (DTC) platforms, and have been present in more than 20,000 modern retail stores," Co-Founder and CEO of Youvit Wouter Van Der Kolk said.
