South Korea’s F&B startup GoPizza announced that it opened its first store in Indonesia at CGV Grand Indonesia. It expanded to Indonesia after entering the Indian, Singapore, and Hong Kong markets.

GoPizza targets rapidly-growing Indonesian millennials and gen-Z who are highly enthusiastic about the Korean Wave. GoPizza plans to open two outlets at CGV and one independent outlet in the Jakarta area. “In Indonesia, 40 percent of the total population are Millennials and Gen-Z, who value new experiences and, above all, have the greatest influence from the Korean Wave. We will create a new culture in Indonesia with CGV,” Lim Jae-won, CEO of GoPizza, said as quoted by KoreaTechDesk.com, Thursday.
