PIS, Vitol Asia Secure Partnership to Boost Tanker Rental Business

PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) collaborates with a world-class oil and gas company Vitol Asia Pte Ltd in tanker vessel rental cooperation for clean petroleum products, dirty petroleum products, LPG, and LNG with time charters or spots scheme. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MOC) on Oct 10. PIS and Vitol also have a business partnership for ship supply services through 2023.

"Hopefully, this cooperation will benefit both parties. Collaborating with a strategic partner like Vitol is beneficial for the future development of PIS business, especially international business," PIS CEO Yoki Firnandi said on Wednesday.

Vitol Asia CEO Mike Muller hopes that the agreement will initiate the start of a bigger business relationship. Moreover, Vitol has more shipping demand than the current one.
