The End of Furniture Startup: Fabelio Goes Bankrupt

The Commercial Court of Central Jakarta District Court has declared the bankruptcy of PT Kayu Raya Indonesia or Fabelio, a startup managing furniture and interior design. As quoted from Bisnis Indonesia, decision Number 47/Pdt.Sus PKPU/2022/PN.Niaga.JKT.PST issued on Oct 5, states that "the debtor is in a state of bankruptcy."

Fabelio appointed Bintang AL, S.H, M.H, a Commercial Judge at the Commercial Court as the supervisory judge and Gde Braga Abi Tamara as the curator in bankruptcy. The supervisory judge determined that the first creditors' meeting will take place on Oct 17, the deadline for submitting creditors' and tax claims is on Nov 14, and the meeting for matching receivables/claims verification will be on Nov 28.
