PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) is exploring opportunities for business cooperation with Marubeni. Indika Energy's President Director Arsjad Rasjid met directly with Marubeni Indonesia CEO Shinji Kasai to discuss the potential for this collaboration.

"Marubeni is Japan's leading conglomerate company with many business lines in Indonesia. At this meeting, we discussed various opportunities for cooperation between Indika Energy and Marubeni," Arsjad said on Saturday.

The details of Indika Energy's collaboration with Marubeni are not yet clear. However, recently Indika has been aggressively expanding its renewable energy and electric vehicle business. Indika Energi previously collaborated with Taiwan's Foxconn to establish a joint venture in manufacturing electric vehicles and batteries.
