Through his personal Instagram account @mrachmatk, Rachmat expressed his readiness to accept the new position. "Alhamdulillah. New Chapter, in an effort to fulfill old promises," Rachmat said on Friday. After resigning from Bukalapak, Rachmat served as Technology and Sustainability Development Special Advisor at the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment, providing personal feedback to Minister Luhut on technology-related issues. With this new position, Rachmat is now an echelon I or a structural official under the minister.
