GoTo to Accelerate Ecosystem Service Integration
PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) has integrated the online food delivery service GoFood into the Tokopedia app as part of the cross-platform synergy in the GoTo ecosystem. It allows Tokopedia customers to enjoy a variety of culinary menus from selected GoFood merchants. The integration also opens up more opportunities for them to boost transactions. Southeast Strategics research published in June 2022 even placed GoFood as the top-of-mind online food delivery provider and found that customers spend more on the platform.
"This innovation is the first step of a synergy strategy in the GoTo ecosystem: by expanding access to customers, partners, and merchants on platforms that are part of our ecosystem," GoTo director and dead of food and Indonesia sales & ops Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo said in a press release on Thursday. In the early stage, only those in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) can enjoy the integration, but the company plans to make it available throughout Indonesia later on.
