Home Credit Receives US$10.4 Mln ESG Financing from Deutsche Bank

Consumer sector lender PT Home Credit Indonesia (Home Credit) received a US$10.4 million fresh loan, equivalent to Rp 156 billion, from Deutsche Bank. The funding will channel environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-based sustainable financing. This is the first ESG-based loan achieved by the company.

"We are implementing ESG principles into our innovative funding strategy. Through a funding partnership with Deutsche Bank, we are simultaneously strengthening our commitment to ESG and innovative funding," Home Credit Indonesia Director Volker Giebitz said in an official statement Friday.
