AgriAku Leads Latest Funding Wave for Agritech Startup

Agricultural startup AgriAku has raised US$35 million or around Rp 520 billion in a Series A funding round led by Alpha JWC Ventures. BRI Ventures, Mandiri Capital, Alto Partners, InnoVen Capital, and Mercy Corps Social Venture Fund also participated in it, along with existing investor MDI Venture (through ARISE, Centauri, and MDI Growth funds).

AgriAku, founded in May 2021, is a business-to-business (B2B) marketplace connecting agricultural tools and supplies retailers, such as seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals. It makes money by collecting fees from every transaction. Currently, AgriAku has more than 20,000 retailers, most of which are in Java, Lampung, and South Sulawesi.
