Grab to Launch GrabFin to Boost Financial Services

Grab Financial Group, a business unit of super-app Grab, will launch a new brand that combines digital payments and financial services called GrabFin. It will be a one-stop platform allowing users to access all financial services, including digital payments, insurance, lending, and wealth management.
GrabFin will first launch in Singapore and Malaysia before rolling out in other Southeast Asian markets in the next few months. "With GrabFin, access to financial services will be as simple as ordering a ride on the Grab app. Our customized products offer consumers flexibility, and GrabPay's multi-layered security features let them transact with peace of mind," says Kell Jay Lim, Head of GrabFin, based on Grab's statement. GrabFin will be the parent brand for all of Grab's financial services, apart from digital banking. Later, Grab Financial Group will oversee two segments: GrabFin and digibanks.
