Cisco to Improve Indonesia's Cyber Security

Communications and Information Minister Johnny Plate has asked United States-based tech company Cisco to develop and improve digital security in Indonesia as the largest digital economy in Southeast Asia. He explained that Cisco's involvement in improving cyber security is important "to keep the digital space clean, considering that, in Indonesia, there are many illegal fintech firms, data leaks, and hoaxes,"

Johnny said cyber security is the ministry's biggest priority to help boost the digital economic growth in Indonesia. He claimed that Cisco is eager to help. "Together, we will formulate the right choice of technology, especially with regard to the physical aspect, to prevent junks filling up our digital space," he said.
