Investigating Fund
Summary

The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) revealed that the Pre-Employment Card program was off-target. BPK head Isma Yatun specified that 119,494 participants should not have received the financial assistance worth Rp 289.85 billion. This finding is included in the 2021 Summary of the Second-Half Audit Results (IHPS) on human resource development (HR).

Isma said the disbursement was off-target because the financial assistance went to workers whose salaries or wages were above Rp 3.5 million per month. Regarding this problem, on Tuesday, BPK advised the Coordinating Economic Minister, Airlangga Hartarto, to establish "clear rules on salary limits or monthly wages for applicants of the Pre-Employment Card program."
