Infrastructure Projects Acceleration Awaits Investors
The government accelerates infrastructure development in several regions, particularly in Java. The trillions of the rupiah project are targeted for completion by 2024. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said 27 projects in West Java were worth Rp 2.53 trillion, Rp 4.92 trillion in Central Java, and Rp 2.35 trillion in East Java. "We need state budget allocations from related ministries and institutions," Airlangga said Wednesday.
The following are some of those projects.
East Java
- Construction of Ngawi - Bojonegoro - Tuban - Lamongan - Manyar - Bunder Toll Road to support the operational activities of the Tuban Oil Refinery and the Java Integrated Industrial Port Estate (JIIPE) Special Economic Zone.
- Construction of Umbulan drinking water facilities to increase clean water and drinking water availability.
- Cable Car construction in Batu City and Ropeway Development for Puncak Pananjakan Bromo Crater to support tourism.
West Java
- Construction of the Cikopo-Palimanan-Palimanan Port Toll Road Access.
- of the Gedebage - Tasikmalaya - Cilacap Toll Road is one of the longest toll roads in Indonesia, connecting West Java and Central Java via the southern route.
- Construction of the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road to facilitate logistics access across Tanjung Priok Port.
Central Java
- Construction of the Cirebon - Semarang Gas Transmission Pipeline.
- Construction of the Bawen-Yogya Toll Road and the Solo-Yogya Toll Road.
- Development of Keburejo regional drinking water facilities.
- Development of the Brebes Industrial Estate.
