Digital Signature Startup VIDA, Newcomer to The Centaur League
Digital signature development startup VIDA reportedly secured US$41.2 million in a Series A funding round from Alpha JWC Ventures, Endeavor Catalyst, Ferro Investments, and several other investors. With this additional capital, VIDA has raised US$51 million, soaring its valuation to US$260 million.
This valuation brings VIDA into the Centaur league of startups with valuations above US$100 million. VIDA's management has not confirmed this investment. In its latest statement, VIDA Co-Founder Sati Rasuanto said that, as an Electronic Certificate Operator (PSrE), VIDA is the answer to public concerns about the digital era's complex and time-consuming administrative process through certified electronic signature products.
