Latest IPO Rumor: Blibli to List on Indonesia Stock Exchange
Technology companies are scrambling to secure fresh funds from the stock exchange this year. A D-Insights source said that Djarum Group's e-commerce platform Blibli.com is intensifying the preparation to carry out an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Blibli is one of 15 unicorn and soonicorn startups planning to go public this year. Blibli's IPO plan emerged six months after acquiring a majority stake in modern retail chain PT Supra Boga Lestari Tbk (RANC). In September 2021, Blibli.com operator PT Global Digital Niaga (GDN) purchased it from seven shareholders at once, with a total acquisition value of up to Rp 2.03 trillion.
D-Insights tried to confirm the report to Blibli.com CEO Kusumo Martanto and Blibli.com spokesperson Yolanda Nainggolan. However, by the time this article was published, they had not provided any explanation.
