Emtek Group Now Owns Most Extensive Digital Financial Ecosystem

Representative of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (Emtek) stated that Sinarmas Group entities entered as shareholders of the DANA e-wallet platform through a rights issue. PT Elang Andalan Nusantara (EAN), a subsidiary of Emtek, still owns some shares in the e-wallet platform although the portion is reduced due to dilution. 

Emtek spokesperson Beverly Gunawan revealed that the new investment from Sinar Mas in DANA was a strategic collaboration. The Emtek Group hoped to create a positive impact on the development of the DANA digital ecosystem and for stakeholders.

"The investment will not change our business, and we will keep fully supporting DANA," Beverly told Katadata.co.id, on Friday. More detailed information on Sinarmas' investment plans in DANA will be disclosed to the public when related authorities have approved all requirements.
