Sinarmas Group Invests in Property Tech Jendela360

startup business
Summary

Property technology (proptech) startup, Jendela360, has successfully raised Series A funding from a subsidiary of the Sinarmas Group. The amount of the funding injection was not specified. This injection of fresh funds occurred about six months ago, expanding its reach to the business of buying and selling property and short-term property rental. Previously, Jendela360 only focused on offering long-term property rentals or a minimum of one year.

Jendela360 had experienced a decline in sales of around 30 percent and reduced the number of employees, especially in the marketing team. To improve performance, this startup presents a new service in the form of virtual tours of properties desired by users. "They [users] don't have the option of coming directly to the property, so our virtual tour feature is the best they can use," Daniel Rannu, Co-founder and CEO of Jendela360, told Tech in Asia.
