Pintek's Funding Potential Showcases Education Financing Prospect

Fintech
Summary

FMO, the Dutch international development bank, plans to invest in PT Pinduit Teknologi Indonesia or Pintek, a startup engaged in the education financing segment. On February 24, Deal Street Asia reported that FMO would participate in Pintek's Series A funding round. The investment plan also appeared in FMO's disclosure report in the Netherlands.

However, the company's representatives were reluctant to reveal the details of the deal. They only admitted that they were exploring funding potentials in another Series A funding round with FMO, but denied having reached any agreement. Previously, at the end of 2021, Pintek managed to raise US$7 million in a Series A funding round, participated by Kaizenvest, Heritas Capital, Blue7, Earlsfield Capital, Finch Capital, Global Founder Capital (GFC), Accion Venture Lab, Strive, and Fox Ventures.
