J&T Express' Ambitious Global Expansion Ahead of IPO

Decacorn of the logistics sector from Indonesia, J&T Express, announced the plan to establish a Middle East & North Africa (MENA) regional headquarter in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. J&T Express would also build the largest smart logistics industrial park in Saudi Arabia with eWTP Arabia Capital and other partners. "The industrial park will meet the growing logistics demand in the region, serve J&T Express consumers and partners, and enhance delivery service experiences," J&T Group Founder, Jet Lee, revealed in an official statement, last weekend.

The smart logistics park is claimed to be the largest in MENA. Its development will take place in stages over the next ten years. Later, the industrial park in Saudi Arabia will become a global hub and J&T's strategic operational center for all regional markets. The logistics park will include a sorting center, an automated warehousing system, an air cargo terminal, e-commerce and modern industrial parks.
