Grouu's Growth Marks Baby Food Startup Rise
Baby food catering startup, Grouu, announced its success in raising US$400 thousand from several investors. Selera Kapital, a subsidiary of the Sour Sally Group, is one of Grouu's investors in the pre-seed funding round, along with several angel investors, such as Wesley Harjono (Managing Director of Plug and Play Indonesia) and Rama Notowidigdo (Co-founder of Sayurbox and AwanTunai). Grouu's co-founder, Jessica Marthin, revealed the plan to use the funds to expand services by opening satellite kitchens in several big cities. Grou will also diversify packaged food products. "We will expand and innovate to reach more parents in Indonesia," she said on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Meanwhile, the founder of Selera Kapital, Donny Pramono, was fascinated by Grouu's vision and mission in providing quality food for children in Indonesia. "Selera Kapital is ready to support Grouu through synergizing with our various portfolios and food and beverage business units," he elaborated.
