SEAM Group Breakthrough as Berkah Beton's New Shareholder

Asep Sulaeman Sabanda, an entrepreneur from Subang Regency, West Java, became the new shareholder in the construction materials producer, PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS). The Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) data on January 13, 2022, revealed that Asep bought 481.65 million BEBS shares, equivalent to a 5.35 percent stake in the company.

Referring to BEBS shares on January 17, 2022, at Rp 4,220 per share, Asep spent Rp 2.03 trillion to buy the shares. Asep Sulaeman is the owner of PT Sumber Energi Alam Mineral (SEAM Group), a holding company with various business lines ranging from poultry farming, coal mining, infrastructure, and industrial estates.
