State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Minister Erick Thohir launched a state-owned food holding ID FOOD. "I expect ID FOOD will synergize with related sectors such as state banks, PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN), PT Perhutani, and PT Pupuk Indonesia," Erick said on Wednesday.

Erick encourages ID FOOD to improve the food supply chain, which has not been coordinated, according to him. He also pushes ID FOOD to open with innovation and technology. PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI) President Director Arief Prasetyo Adi said the food SOE merger has been completed, marked by the signing of the inbreng deed on January 7, 2022. RNI is the head of the holding in charge of five companies.
