New Chapter of StreetScooter Acquisition

Odin Automotive S.à r.l. announced the acquisition of German electric car manufacturer StreetScooter Engineering from Deutsche Post DHL Group (DPDHL). This acquisition gives Odin the rights to StreetScooter which manufactures commercial electric vehicles, including intellectual property rights, production lines, and subsidiaries in Switzerland and Japan. "The StreetScooter acquisition marks a major milestone for us," Odin Automotive Chief Executive Officer Stefan Krause said on January 4, 2022.

Krause said Odin could acquire the rights to StreetScooter, which he claims is an established electric vehicle company. "We have gained more than a decade of experience in electric fleet management that is unmatched in the industry," he said. Odin will develop StreetScooter for expansion in Europe, North America, and Asia.
