Bumi Resources Minerals to Explore Linge Abong Gold Mine

PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), through its subsidiary PT Linge Mineral Resources (LMR), will execute a project in the Linge Abong gold mining concession, Aceh. The start of the 36,429 hectares gold mining project is marked by a reclassification of business development project funds of US$123 million into stakes in LMR.

Bumi Resources Minerals President Director Suseno Kramadibrata said the move was not a new acquisition but only a change in asset accounts from business development projects to exploration and evaluation assets. "The prospect of gold in the Linge Abong project can add significant value to our shareholders, as a follow-up to the development of our gold mining projects in Palu and Gorontalo in the next two years," Suseno said on Thursday.
