Here Are the Voluntary Tax Disclosure Rules
The Ministry of Finance issued an implementing regulation for the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS) or the second tax amnesty, the Finance Minister Regulation (PMK) Number 196/PMK.03/2021 on Procedures for Taxpayer Voluntary Disclosure Program, enacted on December 23, 2021, a derivative regulation of Law No. 7/2021 on Tax Regulations Harmonization (HPP).
Neilmadrin Noor, Spokesperson for the Directorate General of Taxation, said that taxpayers (WP) can participate in the program from January 1 to June 30, 2022, adding that PPS is an opportunity for taxpayers to disclose their tax obligations that have not been fulfilled voluntarily through income tax (PPh) payments based on the disclosure of assets. "PPS has the principles of simplicity, legal certainty, and benefits," Neilmadrin said on Monday.
