Healthy food startup Lemonilo has received US$36 million in Series C funding led by Sofina and Sequoia Capital India. Lemonilo Co-Chief Executive Officer Shinta Nurfauzia said the funds will be used for expansion to several countries in Southeast Asia without forgetting the domestic market. This funding also strengthens the Lemonilo product distribution network.

Since its founding in 2016, Lemonilo has owned more than 40 products ranging from instant noodles to kitchen spices. These products are sold through digital platforms and 200,000 distribution points in Indonesia. "As a company that is in the growth stage, we have proven that our business model works effectively in Indonesia, so we plan to take our business concept to other countries," Shinta said on Friday.
