President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo designated PT Danareksa as a State-Owned Enterprise Holding company, as contained in Government Regulation (PP) No. 113/2021 on Amendments to Government Regulation No.25/1976 on State Equity Participation for PT Danareksa Establishment. The policy is effective from November 10, 2021.

In the regulation, the SOE Holding will manage subsidiaries in seven sectors at once, including financial services, industrial estates, water resources, construction services, and construction consulting, manufacturing, media and technology, and transportation and logistics.
