There is also cooperation between peacekeeping forces and combating terrorism. Le Drian also met with President Joko Widodo, Minister for Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan. "This meeting will discuss the implementation of the Indo-Pacific strategy of France and Europe to support a free, open space, and based on respect for international law and multilateralism," the French government said in a statement.
