Summary

Gojek, an Indonesian technology company, will be 11 years old this year. Gojek CEO Kevin Aluwi revealed that becoming a sustainable company would be one of Gojek's goals in the next decade. Operating under the GoTo Group, the company has introduced the Three Zeros commitment: Zero Emissions, Zero Waste, and Zero Barriers or zero carbon emissions by 2030. "We want Gojek to become a carbon-neutral company in the next ten years and not actively contribute to environmental problems," Kevin said on Wednesday.

As a result, Gojek has begun to explore the use of electric vehicles. The decacorn company plans to replace the entire motorcycle and car fleet in the transportation business line to be electric-based. Gojek has also created the GoTransit service to support zero emissions by 2030. GoTransits is a mobility solution that helps users to determine travel routes by integrating its services with other modes of transportation. "This is a multi-modal service that is useful to encourage the massive use of public transportation services," Kevin explained.
