Pertamina, Turkish Abdi Ibrahim Join Force to Produce Paracetamol

PT Pertamina is exploring cooperation with a Turkish leading pharmaceutical company, Abdi Ibrahim, to share technology and produce paracetamol at facilities owned by PT Pertamina Internasional Refinery. Pertamina secured the agreement after Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi visited Turkey on October 11-12, 2021.

According to her, Pertamina has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Abdi Ibrahim to produce paracetamol. "The government expects that the cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry can strengthen domestic supply and reduce imports of medicinal raw materials," Retno said in a written statement on Wednesday.
