A Bright Future Awaits Digital Banks in Indonesia
The financial aggregator startup Finder released a report stating that Indonesia has the world's second-highest digital bank users after Brazil, based on surveys to 41,654 people in 30 countries. The results show that Indonesia ranks second, with 25 percent of its adults have digital bank accounts. Meanwhile, Brazil ranks first with 32 percent.
Finder estimates that Indonesia will have higher growth for digital bank users, estimating that an additional 14 percent of adult Indonesians will use digital banks over the next five years. It means that percentage of adults who use digital banking will be 39 percent by 2026.
