Rumors surrounding the cabinet reshuffle are getting stronger. This time, the issue has arisen because of the habit of President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, who reportedly often makes important decisions on Pon Wednesday, his birthday according to the Javanese calendar. In Javanese cosmology, the day of birth is an auspicious day.

In the Javanese almanac, every day has two kinds of days, namely the Gregorian calendar system (Monday-Sunday) and the Javanese calendar system called 'pasaran days' (Pahing, Pon, Wage, Kliwon, and Legi). Today, for example, September 28, 2021, is Pahing Tuesday. Jokowi was born on June 21, 1961, which is Pon Wednesday. Tomorrow, September 29, is also Pon Wednesday.

Presidential Spokesman Fadjroel Rachman said the cabinet reshuffle is the president's prerogative. "If there will be a reshuffle, he will announce it himself," he said. Fadjroel said the evaluation report of the ministers had been given by the Presidential Staff Office.
