Summary

Toto Sugiri's data center company PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) responded to issues on shares pledge transactions by billionaire Anthoni Salim. Anthoni has been a DCII shareholder since May 2021.

DCI Indonesia Corporate Secretary Gregorius Nicholas Suharsono said the company had received a notification letter from Anthoni Salim on the pledged shares on June 15, 2021. "The pledge transaction carried out by Mr. Anthoni Salim is not related to the company's business development plan," Gregorius said in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Wednesday (8/4).

Gregorius added that DCII has never received any cash flow from activities carried out by the company's shareholders. Based on the information, Anthoni pledged the shares as part of the Salim Group's investment plan in Indonesia. "At this time, there is no information or other important events that can affect the viability of the company and its share price," Gregory explains.
