Summary

President Joko Widodo signed Government Regulation No. 72/2021 on the status change of Survai Udara from public (Perum) to limited company. Signed on July 1, 2021, it also changed the name of Perum Survai Udara Penas to PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia.

Article 2 of the regulation also dictates that Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia will pose as a state-owned holding company (BUMN) in the tourism sector and its supporting businesses. It will deal with investment and management consulting for the transportation, tourism, retail, and other related sectors. The company can also carry out direct or indirect investments, company/asset restructuring, and management consulting.
