Does Jumper Line Fix Kepodang Field's Main Problem?

Summary

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) inaugurated the Tambak Lorok jumper line from the Offshore Pipeline of PT Kalimantan Jawa Gas (KJG) to the Tambak Rejo-Tambak Lorok Interconnection Pipeline (TRTL), to meet the large gas demand in Central Java. PGN President Director, M. Haryo Yunianto, explained that the 50-meter jumper line would deliver around 10-20 billion British thermal units gas per day (BBTUD) from the Kepodang Field.

Haryo elaborated that the jumper line could increase the reliability and flexibility of PGN's infrastructure. Besides, PGN could also expand the range of natural gas utilization to all sectors other than electricity generation. It would improve the reliability of multi-source gas supply and optimization of domestic gas utilization in Central Java and East Java as well.
