PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) plans to invest Rp 2.5 trillion in the Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone (SEZ), North Sumatra, topping the total value of UNVR's investment in Sei Mangkei SEZ to Rp 5.3 trillion.

Unilever Indonesia plans to expand Marvel 2, expanding oleochemical products and products with added value, including soap noodles and surfactants, through technological innovation. The investment expansion will produce split fatty acids, distilled fatty acids, soap noodles, specialty surfactants, and pharma-grade glycerin.
