Anthoni Salim Multiplies Assets amid Pandemic

Indofood Group President Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Anthoni Salim, has increased his ownership on PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII), a data center company, from 3.03 percent to 11.12 percent. It was revealed in the list of shareholders owning above five percent of shares published by PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) as of June 2, 2021.

Based on the KSEI data, the transaction occurred on May 31, 2021, for Rp 5,277 per share. The total number of new shares purchased by Anthoni Salim was 192.74 million, bringing the total transaction value to Rp 1.01 trillion. He explained that the purpose of the deal was to invest in the technology sector with direct share ownership status.

On the same day that Anthoni Salim increased his stake in DCII, three DCII investors released their shareholdings to divest in other strategic partners (investors). These three shareholders are Djarot Subiarto (18.66 million shares), Marina Budiman (89.58 million shares), and Han Arming Hanafia (56.18 million shares).
