TaniHub Expands as It Secures MDI Ventures, BRI Ventures Funds

The agri-tech startup, TaniHub Group, raised US$65.5 million or around Rp 942 billion in Series B funding. In the latest funding round, Telkom-owned investment company MDI Ventures joined the fund injection.
Several investors participating in the funding rounds are Add Ventures, BRI Ventures, Flourish Ventures, Intudo Ventures, Openspace Ventures, Tenaya Capital, UOB Venture Management, and Vertex Ventures. The latest funding will be used for geographic expansion through various mini-hub facilities constructions supported by local governments throughout Indonesia.
"With the new funding entrusted to MDI from Telkom and the SOE Ministry, MDI sees TaniHub Group as having a big role in agriculture," MDI Ventures' Portfolio Director Sandhy Widyasthana said.
