The new airline Super Air Jet will operate in Indonesia soon. The airline’s chief executive, Ari Azhari, said that the airline, founded in March 2021, already has the flight code of "IU" from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and "SJV" from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

He explained that the airline would serve a super-cost flight class or under the low-cost carrier (LCC). He also assured the owners of the airline were all Indonesians with domestic investment status. "Currently, the Super Air Jet is preparing to take off by following various stages and procedures required based on the provisions. First flights will take place soon," he said on Monday (5/3).
