Awaiting Judicial Reviews of Job Creation Law’s Secondary Legislation

The Law and Human Rights (HAM) Minister, Yasonna Laoly, signed 45 government regulations (PP) and 4 presidential regulations (Perpres) as secondary legislations of Law No. 11/2020 on the Job Creation. "In accordance with Article 185 paragraph 1 of Law No. 11/2020, secondary legislation shall come into effect three months after the Job Creation Law passes," he explained.

According to Yasonna, all draft regulations would be discussed for three months. During this period, the government will allow people and stakeholders to give their opinions. Their aspirations were collected through webinars, focus group discussions, and correspondence. "The draft can be downloaded from the website of the Coordinating Economic Ministry," Yasonna revealed.
