Sluggish Corporate Income, Tax Revenue Remains Negative

Finance Ministry's Directorate General of Taxation sees that the income tax revenue (PPh) Article 25 and Article 29 will be low this year. The reason is that the COVID-19 pandemic is pressing down on businesses.

According to the Directorate General of Taxation spokesman Hestu Yoga Saksama, the 2020 tax return form (SPT) from corporate taxpayers may not show an increase.

"Last year's tax revenue risk, many corporate taxpayers are under pressure. Many of them will report zero profit in the 2020 SPT, which will be submitted until April 2021," Yoga said.
