Two Countries Twin Parks, New Indonesia-China Cooperation

Indonesia and China signed a memorandum of understanding regarding industrial development cooperation called Two Countries Twin Parks. Through this scheme, the two countries will develop several interconnected business sectors in industrial estates. "It's expected to expand sustainable cooperation between the two countries," says Coordinating Maritime Affairs and Investment Minister Luhut Pandjaitan.

Indonesia prepares three industrial estates: Batang Industrial Park and Aviarna Industrial Park in Central Java and Bintan Industrial Estate in Riau Islands. Meanwhile, China appointed the Yuanhong Investment Zone in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. This cooperation includes the maritime industry, food manufacturing, building materials, energy, aviation workshops, and electronics.
