The government ended the auction for the cashless touchless multi-lane free-flow toll transaction project based on the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), which has been held since 2020. A Hungary-based company, Roatex Ltd Zrt, became the winner of the auction after eclipsing the Nusantara Telematic System consortium.

The Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) determines Roatex's victory on January 5, 2021, with a proposed investment value of Rp 6.45 trillion. Bidders who object to this decision can submit objections no later than Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 16:00 WIB.
