International Roadshow for Job Creation Law
President Joko Widodo and several ministers held an international roadshow to introduce Law No. 11/2020 on Job Creation to attract foreign investors. In the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Dialogue 2020 forum, President Joko Widodo said the implementing regulations (PP) derived from the Job Creation Law will be completed as soon as possible so that the business world can immediately felt the benefits of the regulatory improvement.
"Currently, the government is finalizing the implementing regulations of the Omnibus Law on Job Creation. I invite CEOs and entrepreneurs in the Asia Pacific region to take advantage of the opportunities from the Omnibus Law, which has just been enacted," he said on Thursday (11/19).
The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Pandjaitan departed for the United States, among other things, for the same business. Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Bahlil Lahadalia, will meet CEOs of multinational companies in Europe, including four companies in the Netherlands: namely Verstegen and FrieslandCampina in the food industry, Wavin (pipe producer), and Infineon (semiconductor producer).
