How Jakarta Becomes the Center of New COVID-19 Clusters
The government has identified several new clusters of COVID-19 transmission in Jakarta, from households to offices. Jakarta Health Agency’s data showed that about 27 new clusters of COVID-19 transmission emerged during the long holiday at the end of October 2020. They consisted of 93 people traveling to West Java, Central Java, Lampung, Aceh, and Banten.
Meanwhile, new office clusters center in the Indonesian Ombudsman’s office. "Now, the Jakarta Health Agency is tracking the close contacts of 25 employees," Lely continued.
